Problem is access to bone glue if you're outside and then someone coming along and breaking your ram while it's drying. If people in the area will seal someone in their palisade like this, they'll definitely break a ram they see drying.

The players have done the best they can to put together a great wiki site with a lot of do's and don'ts on it. You haven't gotten so far that you can't start over. Learn your lessons and move on.

Yeah, you're right. I play the game to have fun. I've played MMO's before and I've been griefed before, but nothing like this. Not only am I mad because of this incident, but because of the lack of the possibility of mod intervention. I can foresee more fun destroying instances in the future and I don't even feel like dealing with this kind of exploitative bullshit.

everywhere you read about palisades it tells you to seal your cornerposts...if you don't and some ass hole comes along and seals you in its all on you. you've learned the lesson, now move on and remember to seal next time. its true alot of people play this game with thier sole intention being to ruin someone elses day. you can have fun and mostly avoid those people by taking precautions...its the reason you even built the palisade.

so you now have 4 options:
stop whining, ram the pali, seal your cornerposts, and get on with your game.
stop whining, break your hf, grab your valuables, and spawn in the wilderness.
stop whining, make a new character, and use what you learned to get back to where you were(doesn't take as long once you know what you're doing).
stop whining, and rage quit.

up to you, but if you don't have the materials for a ram you could easilly make a new character and start over, or use your current character and start over away from the griefers in your area. always remember no trees around your palisade. you want resources inside so you can use them, not outside where people can use them against you.

Why try to bash me for whining? It's a legitimate problem. I mean, if you're so tough and cool that you want to do the same monotonous things over and over then more power to you. I guess I "whine" too much to want to redo all of the work I've put into something after everything is essentially destroyed by some douchebag using exploitations.

spread my parody :D
see the date i posted it? ;)

by the way, what we call an "exploitation" on this game currently is far beyond this level.
if you hate to see a lot worse happening to you, then forget it and move on.
if you learned this as a common newb mistake to laugh it out and get over it, then welcome to HnH!

I'm not bashing you, but whining won't accomplish anything...

never said I was tough or cool, just pointed out your options as all you're doing now is whining about it, and as I said that won't accomplish anything! no, I don't like doing the same things over and over again(its why I don't farm), so when I build walls I seal the cornerposts. not only that I extend my claim farther than my walls, leaves alot more scents from anyone wanting to do bad things...

its written clearly on the wiki:
Seal all of your cornerposts and keep the materials to make a battering ram spare to prevent yourself from being sealed in by griefers. This can not be stressed enough.

so its done, it can't be undone by you whining here, so I gave you 4 options...use 1 of them. I'll even offer you a 5th option, ask nicely and someone near you might come bash/ram it for you. whatever you decide remember seal cornerposts from now on.

Mods don't have in-game powers. Devs don't want to deal with this kind of stuff. That's why they made it possible to seal cornerposts. Anyways, people have talked to you about your options, so either do something about your situation, or quit.

I'd be completely fine with that. Sure, it would be heart-breaking, but it's what I signed up for. It's a game mechanic that is suppose to be in the game. The fact that you CAN die makes the game funner. This little petty wall bullshit isn't what I signed up for.

Ya, pretty much. It is complete bullshit and the devs hate it and the players hate it and everyone fucking hates it but no one has the time to deal with it anymore. When the player base was smaller and the devs had half as much on their plate as they do now they used to break this open manually. When the player base wasn't so paranoid of eachother we used to help break eachother out of it and then there would be a nice little feast to celebrate freedom. Now though? Now you get left in there to rot and it's bullshit.

I can't personally break you out but if you can get your coordinates and maybe a small reward of food or curiosities together, try to pay someone in the inn to break you out. Stash your valuables on alts to protect them in the event that it's raiders who came to break you out. Worst case scenario, they go in and trash a few things but you're free. Best case scenario you sit down at a table each and eat pie and make friends.
