Fox and Boar Vrs. Sling

With a good quality bow (q50-60, which is easy), you can one-hit kill foxes reliably and do it often enough vs boar and deer. However, due to game mechanics, don't bother with any bow unless you have at least 40 MM.

I'm going to disagree with you, for some reason with my bow I can 1 shot a deer, and usually a boar, but I usually max out at 170ish on foxes...and its pretty weird(I asked about this in the simple question thread a while back also)

There's no reason for that, ImAwesome. If it's a bug, document it as such. Of course, it's very possible foxes have a damage reduction from all bows. If they do, it hasn't been documented.

its possible that its a bug or some type of game mechanic...I have no clue, and I found its easier to just punch them so I don't waste arrows anymore.

@Shake, my bow is around q70(same with arrows, I don't know exact quality off hand and server is down) and I have 150 mm

and since this thread is about mm a quick tip to make shooting easier: try calling down thunder before aiming, even if animal isn't in range it will agro and charge toward your boat, and you don't take as long to aim when you're closer to your target
