The HDI forums are a place to help people. It is also a place for new people.

So all of you and especially Pain stop the insults and the trolling. If you have nothing to contribute to help people then stay out of this particular subforum. Lots of Ainran and Dis folks you can troll in the Congress.

I can't find my way to an actual.... ANYTHING.

The game is not designed to have a set location where things take place. The world is malleable and meant to be built up by players. We are meant to control everything, from the towns to the trade to killing one another as well. The world does have some means of limiting, killing, and shifting players as well but for the most part, we, the players, are what drive the game forward.

So you are correct, you can spend two hours traveling and end up nowhere. You must come to understand though, if you wish to keep playing, that you were somewhere all along.

Teck did a wonderful job summing everything up. The point of this game is to make a place to be. Of course you aren't forced to stay in one spot. Some areas are more bountiful in some resources than others so you'll want to explore the area you started in and find the better location to actually settle down in. Exploring is nice but you have to have a place to come back to and rest, perhaps just a place to keep any valuables you've found in your travels.

I would honestly suggest you join a village and perhaps get someone to teach you the basics. All the information you need to learn to play is basically on the wiki or the forum but some people learn better from a hands-on approach with an experienced player.

Good luck in your travels and don't be afraid of meeting new people (and don't get upset when you're murdered for no reason.)

It's possible that he spawned on an island in coniferous forest. You just can't get started that way.

a survival game is: You spawn, you have just yourself, you start to discover and explore then you start to build, you'r satisfaction is build a town or something you like all by yourself, you can also add friends, then you'll soon discover that there are enemy out there and you have to protect or attack, you can conquer, rarely trade and what is most important, you can use the world mechanism how you like.

I draw, in this game, i don't have really the time to build a big town all alone.

The way you've made your post is seriously bad, hard to not think that you're a troll, anyway THIS is the game. Survive with you'r force of will.
There are lots of people that like to put his efforts building a cool town. There are other people that don't really care to have such stress.
If you don't like a survival game you'll not gain any fun in H&H, you're not forced to, afterall.
Just, the game is played, then the game is a game. With lots of problems but, yes, survival games can be fun for lots of reasons.
Can be not if isn't your tipe of game.

You'r freedom play it.

Ahem. I gave the guy an honest answer, it's a wilderness survival game and you're supposed to make where you ARE somewhere. HE then got antagonistic talking about all the people not playing because they can't find somewhere to go. Drink some coffee before you start modding dude!
