So does Jorb and Loftar know were all good shit is? Or is it random and they don't know shit?

All nodes are generated with the map, prior to the start of the world, assumedly. I'm sure that there is some way for the devs to see the locus of the various nodes and node types.

Q67 mussel spot -W5 ( never actually got a pearl from it :( )
Q24 sand -w6
(not sure if your including these) but Q 68ish swamp w5 <never got its peak but it was around that I'm guessing> and a q50 exactly w6

all my other spots were not really notable :/

I've looted qual 44 sand from a town, qual 50 stone from a mountain, other than that....60's......

q56 sand on an island in the central grids this world, had q50 in w3

Had a q89 mussel spot at world 4 everything else is not so impressive as the others had.

I never really understand this. Ground forageables are dependant on soil Q, why didnt J&L just didnt make water be more randomized like soilQ and have forageables in it depend on its Q.

Mussels are = to the fish node there, so it kind of makes sense ;)

Was gonna post about a q72 mussel spot from W3 but it looks like that's already been bested.

Also I've got a feeling that the mapgen formulas are changed between worlds slightly so old world information (q120+ soil) might be sort of useless now except for cataloging history I suppose.
