That's only an issue with the default client. ;)

that's definitely a hindrance to getting your personal belief sliders moved, which is a huge chunk of LP you can lose out on. If you had a safe place you could stay afk for long periods of time, it would help, but the chances of coming back to a dead character are definitely there.

They do now. The zzz's only appear when you are either logged off but still in combat or like 5seconds after logging out.

Edit: oh, so only in the client? ;)
Hope you have a great day

Dang it... it will be even harder now not to switch to Ender... I've used the default client since I started playing oh so long ago... it would be like cheating. :(

Thanks for that. I guess you could also call it being stubborn. I just never really seen the point in Ender. I mean, the only reason people use it really is to be able to see in the dark and hide walls and whatnot. Seems too much like cheating to me. I enjoy exploring dark caves with my torch. It's even more exciting when it goes out and I'm stumbling in the dark.

Just don't use the light function. It can be toggled.
Hiding function is pretty no cheating, though. You should see what you should see, right?
Radar (huge cheat) can be turned off, too.
Oh, also Ender counts some LP stuff based on quality. A neat thing.

Simple crops. No longer walking into tree stumps because they're hidden behind trees. Autospeed. Many, many good reasons.

(The first thing I do when I get a paycheque will be to upgrade my OS. The second will be to get Ender's client.)

Claim highlighting that doesn't bog your system down.
Extra hotkey bars.
Expandable minimap that can be zoomed in and out.
A more streamlined combat HUD.

Guess we could go on and on about the good things. ;)

So I broke down and got the Ender client. I don't think I can ever go back to the default client ever again. :(

Im fully active those 2 hours, but I get a Personal beliefs point about every 4 days, and that sucks. A lot.
But soon Im gonna get a new laptop charger so I will be able to play much more, so I can change curiosities every once in a while. Question about Aurochs hair: How much LP does it give and how much time does it take to study it?
