It was a Dwarf Fortress reference geez, lighten up.
On topic, here's my suggestions:
1. personal claim over your entire wall
2. make a shovel start working on the brickwall - make 4+ kilns and gather clay on a daily basis - stockpile bricks in many many brickwall cornerposts
3. use rustroot to find all the different metals - deeper metals are higher quality (there are 5 underground layers)
4. hunt deer/bear to get an idol + crossroads up so you can stop using your key (you'll need wine though)
5. make 2 Traveller's Sacks and Large Chests to speed up your clay collection abilities
6. get ovens so you can turn your farmed food into baked goods
7. get a meat grinder so you can turn your hunted meat into sausage
8. tame cows so you can have a steady supply of milk - start cheese production
9. explore your area and take note of all clay/soil/water nodes even if they're only mid-q
10. use the best clay/soil/water to begin tree farm
11. plant a mulberry tree, build lots of herbalist tables and cupboards, and start a silk farm
12. keep making better and better table decorations so you can eat more efficiently
13. use the logs produced by your tree farm + the nicest bone saw you can get to make higher quality cheese trays, herbalist tables, a dining table, coal, tanning tubs, churn, spinning wheel, loom, wine barrels, and a wine press
14. use the best clay you can get to make higher quality kilns, smelters, finery forges, steel crucibles, treeplanter's pots, and ovens
