The village leader was just helping me with my plot but my friend claimed it so he left quite a few scents. I notice they have a little number next to them, what does that mean?
Edit: How do I get rid of them?

They only have a number if they are in your inventory. You should be able to just drop them. The number is the total uses before you have to collect scents again.
