Actually, some people will still opt for this over steel armor in some situations, so the quality of steel has little to do with it. ;) As an armor, it is marginally better than plain leather. As a stat boost, it's awesome!

edit: everyone also forgot candles. I never can remember if the candle quality effects the birthday cake, though. :roll:

This. I don't even own a steel plate, those things are for people who can't dance when someone pulls an rbow ;)
