if you were far enough away from him, you could have tried hearthing away before he could aggro you. but i realize this is a problem since the 5 second delay on it was introduced.

Also occasionally, sticking around and talking does work. i know its not always the best solution, but the gamage u get from being hit while ure running is far worse than if u were just standing still. Also if u noticed someone coming escaping in a boat is probably much easier than running around losing stamina.

Ok so restarted.. couple of days played again.. built palisade and huge claim around it.. had fun.. same dude comes along and one shot kills me with a sling >.<

Not whining.. just sure now that its not my game :p

"Huge"? How big was it exactly? I never build one less than 100x100 for this reason. I can put most everything in the middle and then don't have this issue.

As a note, if you're having these problems, move. It's just going to get worse. You can't completely avoid asshats, but you can do a lot to decrease the odds of being ganked.

Well that's a small plot to be honest, regular village claim size is 100x100 and you can't see the idol when it's palisaded exactly at the corners of village claim.
Easy to sling you bru.

we have always built a sniper proof wall after our farmer kept getting shot at throguh the walls last world. prevents people snooping and shooting at you randomly when ure inside the village minding your own business.
