Hey, man... sorry to say this, but if you had all that, you should definitely had claimed the land by now. You probably focused too much on other things.

As go negotiating, first you would have to find the person online, then you would have to see how reasonable the person is. I hardly doubt he would just let you have the stuff back, since he stole it in the first place. But I suppose it's always worth trying.

Good luck. If you can't get that back, just move elsewhere and rebuild. Building stuff isn't that hard, the really hard part is finding a nice location.

EDIT: You could also leave a runestone telling the guy it was your stuff and all... or giving a HS for him to add and talk to you, but I wouldn't keep my hopes up.

i restarted in a location that i don't think is as close to where he keeps expanding his claims. maybe i am working on getting the wrong skills first, who knows.

i followed the advice of raiding all the anthills i see. i also went to a swamp and caught some dragonflies. also i used lp to expand my exploration so i can find the stuff i need closer to my home. things are looking up. this game takes a lot of work for a new guy on his own, but at least it's something interesting to occupy my time!

thanks for all the help guys

i would never set up a base i wanted to stay in unless i had the ability to claim it. yeomanry is the most important one to get quickly, unless its a small claim and someone has a town or pops and idol next to you, your claim is pretty much safe. good luck

yeah well i don't think it's so much an area that i was really attached to except for the fact that there was a nice clay node in it. other than that i wasn't too attached. mostly i am just trying to learn the ins and outs of the game, been on a couple weeks or so. presently i am waiting on my studying to pan out so i can grab that yeomanry asap because i have a nice little place going on and i'm not really into the idea of starting over again. once was ok, but i don't want to start over every few days! that's a lot of my work that someone else just got to take over by claiming territory i was working!

heh. you get to join the "old guy" club with just a few others that are over 25 around here. (This game has been taken over by broke-ass teenagers that can't get their parents to pay for WoW or SWTOR.)
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.
