That somehow those original 100 crops of ql10 were still involved in the beeswax/honey formula, and bringing down the average. I tried destroying the old hive, and building a new one in exact spot, with the same crops (only one harvest difference, so maybe a ql diference of 5 tops) the wax went from 9-12 to 33-31.

I've seen that as well. The quality dropped back down after a while, but theoretically a better Beehive might have something to do with it. As far as I know, not even Jorb/Loftar truly understand how beehives work at this point in time. The code was written a while back and they haven't bothered to re-decipher how it works.
