emailing the devs isn't going to do a bit of good. At this point they're aware of the problem and nobody else really has a clue if they have time to fix it or not.
Welcome to the world of truly free games. Some of us have been playing these for 20 years now (look up MUDs). You just have to accept when the game is up, it's up, and when it's down, it's down. Making a huge fuss out of it doesn't hurry it up, it actually slows it down because then the one or two guys running things have to stop and deal with emails from bitchy players.
