I'm not sure there's any proof of this being in World 6, in fact, not having seen lower level deer this world I think it may have been removed.

They definitely haven't been removed. I often find deers level VII-X. Just yesterday I got one that yielded Q80 items instead of the usual 100. They are the only animals I ever found that have varying levels, though. As far as I've seen, foxes are always IV, Boars VII, Bears X. (and yes, I am disregarding trolls, because everybody knows they have different possible levels).

I'll chalk this up to my lack of deer hunting this world, or rather, lack of deer hunting near any large settlement as large settlements this world just wanna roflstomp people.

I am not sure if it is related to civilization level or if the deer level is just random, but the amount they heal also varies according to their levels. I don't think I live near any large settlement, but it might be related to a lot of trees being fallen in my area... or maybe it's just random as I mentioned earlier... don't really know how this works. Would be nice if other people who have seen deers of lower level than X could mention it... (and possibly if the area around was densely populated, etc...)
