Thanks, I've never encountered one and only briefly discussed their tactics a long time ago. Best practice, even for the monsters with 1000 UA is just run. You might be able to block it off if you're in a single tile tunnel, by placing a sign post and keeping the build menu up so that the sign can't be destroyed.

Another thing to note is that trolls get stronger the further you are below ground - much like the dmg on cave ins.... IIRC Level 1 trolls have 200-400 UA - remembering though the move that grants them 2+ advantage, so I'm sure they can be really savage before you even have enough IP to flex ;___;

AND that is all I know about trolls. Enjoi.
I had a retardedly huge signature and have gotten this embarrassing replacement to show for it.

Run speed.

Here's a video that gives quite a bit of info about troll fighting.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1At3TKH ... re=related

Protip:Drop a frog in front of a troll to stop it from chasing you and always have an alt ready if it's your main for a distraction.

On that note, try to start making a mining alt if you have the extra resources laying around.

When a troll spawns it'll generally just use an IP/Advantage stacking attack but because of this you can start hauling ass in the other direction. I don't believe that they always agro though because one of the trolls I mined up just stood there and I was able to simply run back to the corner of my screen and shoot at it. I've found armor can help also. I've heard of miners eating punches before with their armor, though they're basically dead after it lol. Sprint speed will allow you to outrun it so if you're troll farming be sure to keep your stamina up.
