An easy way to kill a deer without such high marksman, etc... Is to trap them against the river side or lake side (using signs).
While in your boat shoot at the deer until it flees and you see an olive branch where it is normally two swords (this makes them "passive" and they won't attack you)

When that's done, get out of the boat and go inside of the blocked off area. From there you can easily gain IP (initial points) and then some advantage. With enough strength, you can one hit the deer with a knockout punch when you have 100 attack, and the deer has 0 defense. The easiest way to deplete the deer's defense is to get 11-17 IP and use flex until your attack is full, then you punch it. Continue this until the deer has about 10-15 defense, and then refill your attack bar with flex(or jump, but flex is better). Then you use opportunity knock which takes out 30 defense, followed by a knock his teeth out. If you didn't kill it with one hit, you will need about 17 IP, and you use the knock his teeth out twice. IF the deer manages to heal its self during this time, just retry it or try it again when you have more strength and UA.

With this strategy I was able to kill deers when I had 20 UA and about 20-25 strength.

It's easier with a sword, as you can just you sting instead of knock his teeth out which saves IP.
