Need some help with uc fighting a boar

I've killed boars with 70 UA.

I start out on Oak Stance maneuver since one hit from it cuts down my def to 51~ on any other stance than Oak or Bloodlust. I use Float like a Butterfly to keep the advantage on neutral for now, and gain IP from DoG stance after regaining all my def. Build up IP by switching from Bloodlust, Oak, and DoG, then start switching to Dash and Skuld so as not to keep giving the boar IP. Opp Knocks, not completely necessary but sure makes things faster, then Knock Out. After that, even at 15~ attack, I simply use Knock Out again and it's dead.

All in all I think it's pretty safe way to kill boars as long as you don't jumble up on your stances. I've done it several times without armor as I was trying to build myself a cuirass then.

EDIT: Sometimes I initiate using CDTT just to make life a little easier.

Thank you guys very much, especially Xaniff and CloudJhi, I successfully killed several boars already, I didn't use your strategies because that was before you two posted, but it's really nice to know many strategies. Especially that the current strategy I use is really quite slow, which takes 7mins. What I do now is to charge at the boar with dodge on, wait for it to attack first, then switching to bloodlust and slide to quickly regain defence, then I can switch to dodge again or DoG occasioanlly along with charge to get some ip, I wait until I can get enough ip for making my advantage 3 with invo or sidestep, then I start punching. And if the boar\s attack is low, I use bloodlust and jump, otherwise, oak or slide for defence, and with one or two punch, it starts running and then it\s easy. But it really takes a long time to get 3 advantage. I will definitely try your ways when I find a boar close home.

Meh, turns out I was too timid, with 111 uc, I can just punch boar, bloodlust and jump and punch, and repeat and punch it until he runs. Just a matter of switching maneuvers.

If you do it right (with that much UA), you should be able to kill it without it even running. Takes some practice with timing, though, and be careful you don't hit it too hard at one time. Depends on STR and skills available, too.

When I was at 70 UA I just spammed FLAB and seize the day up to 5 advantage and then jump punched it to death.
