Easily kill a bear with <7 UA

The lowest I've used this method with is 20UA, so it works I know, but in a 1 tile river shallows the bear can still attack you. Sometimes he becomes stuck and won't, but that's not a safe bet.

I used to kill bears, boars, and deer with this method on day 1 of new worlds. I believe I had about 5 UAC when I did it? It's essential to get combat advantage against deers first so you end up needing about 144 initiative.

I've killed 2 deer like this with only 50 IP for each one.

Also, cumfirmed, killed plenty of bears in shallow water at ~10 UA. Ex village mates can confirm.

I haven't pulled it off under 30 UA too (maybe because I hardly tried but w/e).
Were there any other deer in the surrounding? You have to tease the deer far enough away from the others, so it can only heal himself and can't get healed by others too.

Yeah, I pull them off one at a time always, no matter how I'm trying to kill them (until I get a SS or good enough bow and can 1-shot kill them).

Did make the mistake of leaving a body laying out, though.... Let's say I ended up 1 less deer for the day very quickly. (Fookin boogs)

You can kill deers in a pack with a sling with enough MM. Just have to try and get 2 shots off before the first heal.

i do have 40 str.... mostly from bear cape and talisman
