I have been meaning to make a video on all the in depth guide on all the advanced stuff in haven. Some of the stuff I havent confirmed so I would need to do more experiments to figure them out. But this would be the list of all the things I would cover. If anyones interested I would gladly push on it and try get it done faster. Right now I don't know how interesting it would be so don't to motivated.

-Terraforming
-Server grids
-Treefarming and tree hitboxes / stunting
-Tile updates and tile spread
-Subtiles and type functions
-Map grids and loading theory
-Node theory and quantity nodes
-Armor dmg and Rbows
-Few exploits and balance issues (Combat and other areas)

I might also just for bragging rights do a bot show cast. :)

All depends on the interest though and some of those listed above I haven't fully experimented with to fully confirm.

A tree stunt zone seems to be the next (or target) tree-level hitbox times 3. (so a 3x3 tree-hitbox area around the tree center).
Although in general is not really needed (data pretty clear on this in my view), I don't mind seeing that checked by someone else.

After the Warring Society gets its feet wet, I would honestly like to see such videos become a part of that organization's field of interests.

Right now, the current iteration is on the study of combat, but I would really like to see the development of other schools build up around that.

And there are no other learning supplements like a good video. I say go for it, and see about getting in contact with someone from the Warring Society to see if it could possibly become a joint project.

few useless facts:

- eating mussels from cupboards is more effective than from table (until table has more than 35% hunger)

- best fep/time perc food is lamb sausages- they are cheap and gives a lot of fep

- agi+cha is actually more important then con+str in straight meele

A common knowledge is that you can discover items and gain LP from them. But a smart way is to organize a cupboard like the image above to discover items very fast instantly after you have made a fresh new alt. The items in the cupboard can be prepared for anyone who wants to gain LP quickly by simply equipping and unequipping the item. The items in the inventory on the right shows just a few of the random items you can easily find inside and around your base.

Image

The image above also shows that you can easily discover a whole lot more items using the trade stand. Although a bit more time consuming but with a good setup you could probably discover over 100 items.

You can discover rope and fiber using the fishing pole by equipping it and unepipping it. You also discover water, wine and beer by starting to drink the beverage. You can also stop your character by clicking anywhere to abort the drinking and still get the discovery. Rats and frogs can also be easily discovered by dropping them on the ground then having them picked up. Lastly you should note that you cant get worms from grassed tiles so dig on forest tiles to gain the worm discovery as well.

But just by looking at the objects in the cupboard you could gain 23 discovery's. If you also count at least 10 of the most easiest discovery's in and around your base you could net up to 33 discovery's just 5 min after making a fresh alt. Note that the cupboard shown above could have alot more items added to it. Headgear appears to not give any discovery's but all types of items that goes into the chest and pants slot do. This includes your linen clothing that you start off with. Also add the sand you can dig from the spawn room.

Assuming you just made your new alt and have put your first personal belief towards peaceful. You should gain 65 LP per discovery.
65 * 33 = 2145 LP.

Thats just in the first few minutes. If your diligent you could probably discover over 40 other items around your base netting up to double that. Using a organized trade stand you could also gain enough LP to place down a p-claim just minutes after making a fresh new alt. And if you have a very well organized trade stand you could add doughs, foods, foragables, tools, metals, seeds and other items into your organized trade stand boot and probably gain enough LP to unlock some of the most difficult to gain skills in the game.

I didn't count the downtime you could also add to your fresh alt. If you plan it in advance you can easily place your alt over night logged in to wake up the next day and push your characters personal beliefs even more. Drinking tea also helps in the process so even a fresh new alt can drink tea and wait 12 min for the extra LP added by tea buff.

I could look into it in depth and try make a list of items you can discover with a trade stand and see how much tea buff affects a fresh alt. But I believe its up in the thousands of LPs. Maybe even enough to unlock theft or vandal.

LP till vandal can be unlocked. 100 200 LP
200 LP per discovery on a full change / peaceful alt with tea buff

100200 / 200 = 501 Items

501 items is stretching it a bit but you could temporarily give your alt pearl rings and pearl neckless so that number would go down a bit. Given that you are paishent enough you could easily also study some of the quicker curios so you might not need over 500 items to unlock vandal. Given the information listed here you could make a vandal alt in less then 24h if you were organized enough.

It all sounds very fishy and should probably be looked into by loftar.

-Map grids and loading theory
-Node theory and quantity nodes

You can clear cavins that have fallen in the void area by brushing up against the walls of the void at lowest speed. Then going to max speed and attempting to bash it. If its close enough you can at least clear the ones that are close enough. You can't reach the ones in the back but at least the ones in the front are reachable.

Image

If you really don't want cavins to fall in the void, avoid placing supports closer then 9 tiles from the void tiles. That means 8 free tiles between you and support and the void. Best would be to place it at max distance and still be able to mine out the walls. Other tricks are to place boats in the void area before bashing the supports so the boats will take the hit and not leave any cavins.

If your desperate about removing the cavins in the void areas you can also build a village idol right up against the void, take it over when its finished drying, remove your HF and repeat porting to it until you land near the cavin and bash it.
