Sword is pretty damn good for hunting, so I'd learn to use it anyway. And there's a decent chance that swords will be buffed soonish, so they can damage armoured opponents.

Talking of swords - which is better, a soldier sword or an 28q higher bronze sword?

What q SS? All you need is the base damage of each to see where the curves have equal damage (SS 400, bronze 325). It's a 13/16 ratio in the damage, so if your bronze sword is a multiplier of about 1.67, you should need about q18-19 for an equal SS.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Ok, thanks - this kind of thing (numbers) is not one of my strong points, lol, but I think from what you've said my SS is better. I had asked someone in game who said that SS's are always better but I realised afterwards I hadn't given them the q difference, so just wanted to check.

I didn't want to post quality as I suspect both are embarrassingly low for this stage of the game.

It much different from q10 to q11, than from q200 to q201. the lower the quality, bigger the diffetence. Possible to calculate how low q SS has to be so that bsword is better, but im phone so cant calc stuff rite now.

I don't know what BASE damages are now but I was assuming SS = 400, bsword = 325. Now I know that isn't true, but if the ratio is the same (which I'm assuming it is) then, what I PMed you is true.

No problem :) I just want to give back! In fact I'm making 50ql swords now if you can supply high ql bronze as I'm using 25 ql I can easily make a sword above 50

Anyway just mentioning! Best of luck !

Didn't she say she doesn't want to say the quality of her sword? Genius...
