same thing happened to my friend too , he was just building his house logged out and bam his char is gone when he logged in

Can you confirm a few things please?

- After your first character died, did you inherit from them?
- Are you in the same location as your friend's dead character?
- If so, has your friend's hearthfire gone out? Are they definitely dead? I ask this one because you said '...he was just building his house logged out and bam...'; did he log out or become disconnected? Is your friend's dead body lying on the ground somewhere?

- Which client are you using? Does it have a radar? Are you absolutely positive that there has at no point been any unexpected white dots on the minimap?

Basically either something weird is happening or (more likely) there is a sniper around who doesn't want you moving into their neighborhood. Try moving at least half a supergrid away and not living near water.

i did inherit from my first char , and def for sure that there were no white dots or anything around at a time of my death using ender , btw i was just destroyin stump and client just shuts down , i tried to login , and then i see my char dissapeard creted new one saw that i can inherit did so spawned at my chars hf and saw his dead body still spurtin blood.

Now about my mate , his hf was gone , and body nowere to be found , nothin from camp was stolen no scents nada.
