You need to enable criminal acts to walk on the claim and destroy the stake claim - pickaxe is good

If you walk on claim and click destroy button and point it on the stake it will show a bar if it's destroyable

This info I got from my own experience. Past world I sold a lot of pepper and got worn out with the huge lag, so I had saved seeds in cupboards and the fields that where not harvested I think for more than 3 months. I dont remember the Q or more specific details, but I do remember that the ones that I had as seeds where higher than the seeds that came out from the planted ones when I cleaned up the field.
Ofc I can be completely mistaken because I have not tested it in a cientific way.

Maybe we get lucky and somebody can give us more data. :D
