I second that. Very annoying not to have this.

even after restarting my pc for updates, im still logged in when i open chrome.
i asked some others in case im too special that this site wants me to stay logged in so badly, but sadly, im not the only one

If you have your browser configured to resume previous session on start-up it will preserve all the session cookies (which are supposed to be destroyed otherwise) on exit. So on restart all log-ins still work, as it's sort of like you've never closed your browser.
On other hand if it's set to load home/blank page on startup, then everything what needs to be cleared is cleared and relogin is required.

It's not a solution since some people don't want to have the "resume session" feature enabled. A solution would be a "Remember me" option, which is the de facto standard for websites with login option.

That's bollocks. It's actually harder to use Base64 for storing data since all scripting languages and frameworks (that I know of) provide storage using salted hashes as the default. You'd actually have to dig through some manuals to get around storing things as Base64.

I see your point, but it's ridiculous to do that just because one website lacks such a simple feature. It's pretty much the same than logging in every time - as in how much time it takes.

I'm not **demanding** that they implement this feature, I just find it silly that they don't, given the simplicity of the task and it being a standard on every fucking website created in this century.
