I'm pretty sure it's not boar, because there isn't the boar icon on the mini map. It just came out of no where and walked into my base, I didn't see it coming at all. Or maybe I turned off radar or some shit on accident.

Check bear attack vs. soak and then the soak value of log cabins.

Borka asked me to share my log cabin and bear story so I shall.

Last world I stumbled upon a bear and immediately ran for the nearest building. That happened to be an abandoned log cabin. I luckily got inside before he got to me. He did damage the cabin but by stroke of luck I was out of sight long enough for him to deaggro on me. So he stopped. So there is a small chance you could be safe but I can not vouch if it would happen all the time or even most of the time. So be aware cabins are not safe zones.
