Since when has it ever been in the upper left?
The Lord of sneaking, the silent steps of paws, fast as a bird, and as smart as a advanced human... this is what a Fox is and what it will always be.

IIRC if you directly aggro a quelled animal it'll bug out and tameness will never rise no matter how many times you quell.

For all of you that are looking at this for answers, I think I found a way to make the de-aggro "hurry up" method work... well MagicMan explained it well. Here's a rough breakdown:

Through the de-aggroing phase, make sure you tick all of the Swords next to the animals frames as olive branches. If you just walk far enough off-screen for the questionmarks to disappear, you're gonna reset the tameness back to 0.

So, tick all the animals you can to olive branches... all of them if you can. Then walk away until all of the frames are question marks. Stand still until all of the frames dissapear EXCEPT ONE. I may be wrong, but this seems to be what's working for me. The key seems to be the olive branches and not walking TOO far away.

Hope this helps, all thanks go to MagicMan!
