How do I kill a bear?

so normally a bear tears down these? i have to be luckiest guy ever in h&h, worked like 5 times up to now.

No, bears will destroy anything up to a palisade (just an estimate, haven't tried it yet). This update is a recent one, it has been implemented only for some hours now. So you probably managed to kill those bears with traps before the update was introduced.

Thats great! BTW you still can kill it from boat. But this quite time expensive though.

find a bear with a stone just across the river so you dont lose agro and ferry up and down, reloading stones as needed

Just an update to this post but bear's cannot break though a palisade. I would have took a screen shot if i knew how lol.
