Am I alone in believing that it is an abuse of the game's system to fence an animal in with partially build fires before shooting it?

Also, ignore the previous question about grinding LP, unless you have some awesome way of doing it. After raising my change all the way up (god I hope I don't die...) I can grind it pretty fast.

Bears have the ability to break construction signs, so I consider any animal that can't break them to be fair game.

It's easy enough to kill bears with level ten or twelve marksman from a boat with a sling if you are painfully patient and have a handy rock you can chip at without coming ashore. Bears don't run away under these circumstances.

To get your aiming speed better than glacial, get the highest q equipment you can.

Perception is the other stat that effects marksman ability so if getting your marksman skill up is taking time and you are swimming in plaice and low q carrots you don't have to work your marksman all the way up to twenty.

How about penning them in with boats and carts? That strikes me as legitimate even if you are a purist.
