Wow, an old thread. i remmeber those days. Good thing you searched the forums first. What a good newb.
Seeds don't rot. Neither do crops. Planting them is good coz they will be fully grown when you come back. But unless you have fenced in your claim someone might come and steal harvest them. So it would be safer to keep anything you want in your inventory for safety. Most of your stuff will be very decayed in 2 weeks. Take stuff off of drying racks and things like that or it will disappear. Store whatever you can inside or on an alt.
