Sorry for the double post, but I couldn't add more attachments without making a new post. I calculated that one palisade corner to the next requires a translation of either 64 pixels down, 33 pixels right, or 64 pixels up, 33 pixels left, depending on how you look at it. This was obtained from Jorb's Palisade picture. Using this data, I proceeded to draw a translation from the old palisade to where the new one should be. This led me to the middle picture, where I have drawn the translation as a result of a vertical and horizontal translation. I then dropped a Tea Seed at around the spot, and found that the seed's position gave me the exact point where the palisade should be. But not only was I not able to place the palisade at this specific point, when I placed it at a nearby, but farther point, I could not even place it; the Roundpole Fence was in my way. Did I do something wrong? Or is this because I was unable to overlap my new palisade with the other?

Also, please look at my previous post too.

I'm sorry. Right now you are beyond my experience. I don't know why it won't place.

The only thing I can suggest is that you might try killing the two roundpole fence segments, and then trying to put them down again, just in case when you shift clicked to place them there was a tiny little gap somehow. But with the measurements you've taken I don't see how there would be.

When we made our pallisade we didn't measure or count pixels. We just placed the first post with shift click, made sure it worked and kept going. It worked, somehow so I am going with what we did. It seems it's a highly frustrating puzzle.
