How do you have fun?

I have fun punching foxes to death. They go "crunch" when i do. I hope that one day i will have fun making Bears go "crunch".

Main thing is to have goals. I lost my goals for a while after we decided TT had died and just spent my time online standing around being bored. But now I have set new goals. Somehting as simple as 'Cheese'. It involves the taming of my first cow (done) which was an experience or pure torture. Making vinegar and eventually rennet. Building a new cellar at my new place and trying to set up the best mine cheese building locations.

Seriously, a sandbox game without some sort of goal is aimless. Pick a goal, and try for it. Maybe you don't like being a hermit alone in the wilderness with just you and you gf and Dbuck (oh yes i know about you =P). So try and join a village maybe? best of luck mate.

Humm, well, according to the powers that be, you take nothing seriously, it's just a hobby. Try to find a goal or collection of goals you enjoy. Then go for it. Try not to waste too much time or get too involved as they say it is "just alpha" and therefore very frustrating with the mechanics and expliots and the kind of crowd that attracks. You can find a great deal to work towards and will invariably enjoy yourself which however can get you too involved in said work when a greifer comes along. Since they have a gazillioin advantage there's a few things you can do, but nothing really to thwart them IF they are serious about their destruction. So invest little and it will hurt less... so to speak. Still you can have some fun and take basic steps to try to realize some portion of your goals...just keep it in perspective and you'll be alright.
