You're settled near a river? I give your place 1 week. Colour me suprised if it hasn't been raided in that time. :P

I understand they say that riverside settlements are easily raided, and I understand why, however I've spent at least two months of total time between two claims settled next to the river, and another week or so on a lake, and never been bothered. In fact the only time I've ever been "raided" was on a new character I made with some friends to introduce them to the game, and we had some jerk living near us on the same grassland come and steal a bunch of our stuff and squirrel it away behind his palisade.

Also, rope now isn't difficult at all. Go kill aurochs or boars, dry a few extra hides, and make some hide straps. Each 2x2 hide gives 8 straps, so 2-3 of them and you've got another gate.

As for the ram, it's actually significantly easier than it was previously. I just did some ramming last night with three characters. Two with around 160 strength, and the third with around 120. Each wall section took 1/2 a stamina bar to drop, and I could have had a fourth person if he had been online. If you can get a decent (q60+) bear cloak and bear tooth necklace, have some wine to drink to 2nd effect with, and a few friends who can do the same, you could take it down in a bar or two per section.

Edit: Forgot to mention also, every time we've used our ram it's broken down after 12 tiles. They can be repaired with bone glue, though it then has to dry for another 24 hours.

K, i am now having difficulty building next to a cliff with a palisade cornerpost/fence. I mean that there is a straight fence, and theres 1 spot left that i can walk in and out from and i cannot build on it, its paved. Any clue?

This is increadibly frustrating especially since i cant delete the upper palisade anytime soon, does anybody have a solution to this or something? is it a bug?

You'll need to build a new cornerpost just behind the palisade to plug the hole, using shift placement. Experiment with the placement of construction site until you're sure you can't slip through.

Holding shift while placing a construction site lets you place it off-grid.
