Yeah we had chickens in a cupboard... full cupboard of live chickens.
Logged out for the night, came back, they're still there. We just finished building our coop about a day later, came back, buncha dead chickens. That was weird till we realized: Living animals need important things, like food, water, and oxygen. None of which, apparently, are available in a cupboard.
Who knew.
Sill, to threadjack: I want free-range poultry options! And no, don't just say wild spawn.
Chickens in free-range environments use troughs... kinda... sorta...

You won't be saying that in a week or two when you realize how many abandoned homes there are. A 30 second boat ride south of my village literally bring you to the ghetto. There's abandoned claims everywhere with the occasional newb taking things and raiders patrolling. It reminds me of Detroit.
