I'm a bit of a retard with computers but I believe it's because my colour depth was 16-bit when it should have been 32-bit. After i changed that everything ran normally.

Yeah, here is a tip: Never try to make haven and hearth faster. I changed it to 16 bits because i thought it will go faster, but i just lagged more. And usually games go faster if you set it on real time but haven and hearth just laggs as hell if you do that.
