Bee Hives - Honey sequence changed?

iirc there was a time where you get 1 beeswax if the beehive collects 0.3 liter honey or more...

i rebuild my beehives from time to time, actually i have 3 beehives, q60.
since a long time they give me only honey (actually q50-q60) but no beeswax.

that's all i believe to know!

There is more info to be harvested here I think. (might matter, might not)
1) If your beehives don't intersect to much ... what type, or types, of crops do you grow per beehive.
2) Do you generally empty a beehive as soon as you see it contains some honey. Or do you tend to wait some time.
