Is the maximum survival skill for effectively butchering bears 200?

Survival is only a softcap. Past 200 survival your survival skill will no longer softcap the skinning/butchering/collecting bones of bears (don't forget that sharp tool quality will still softcap when skinning/buchtering). So yes, the maximum effectiveness for survival on the subject of bears is 200.

With the advent of trolls, if you're a member of a large village that's doing a lot of mining, at least one person that is going to be available should get 300 survival to keep from softcapping.

How do I claim more land, I don't know how to, I can't find it on the wiki i already have the land claimed I want to add more. And no mater what I do I can't get more, I know it takes 10LP but its not working.

Right click on the claim stake itself.

I've done that, clicking on the idle right? Then you get the green squares. I can claim 16 squares right now but it won't let me claim it I right click and left click.

In the window that pops up, you need to use the "expand north" "expand west" etc. buttons, and then there should be a "claim" or "purchase" button to press at the bottom.

If the window in question says "Land management" then you need to update your Ender client.

Also, note that the updates to the client are separate from the main download. You want the file with "upd" in the name.
