Yes, sqrt(str) rounded down = Damage done to objects per tick.
So 1, 4, 9, 16, 25, 36, etc. etc. are significant strength numbers. Having 38 strength is the same as having 36 strength though.

Grow trees on or near it. While growing trees have a chance to change nearby terrain into their native terrain. Once it finishes growing it stops changing tiles though.

Is a decayed palisade(red) corner any easier to bash with a pickaxe that a non decayed one?

Is there any truth to a rumor I heard that some players have a hacked client and can do nefarious things like detect quality of everything etc?

What is there to stop someone from placing strongboxes in front of palisade gates as a form of griefing? Isnt that a little easy to do once you have the mats? I mean you could go around and start blocking everyone's Palisade gates.

Yes and so does axe/pickaxe used.

1) No, same damage soak no matter what condition they're in.
2) Pretty sure that's a lie. Can't say for sure though, never know what someone out there has.
3) Absolutely nothing but most people rely on teleportation to get around anyway. It is an incredibly annoying and very much so a dick move frowned upon by everyone. Seriously, does anyone even use strongboxes for their intended purpose? Has anyone ever used them as storage?

This would take more than a hacked client to find this out. The server doesn't even send quality information about terrain out, so it'd require that player/group to hack the server.

As long as the village claim is still active then yes it will. Vandalism for both.
