does diagnol mining still work my hhp is pretty low to 70 and i dont want to die

they should fix this hermits cant get ores now i dint know this snake mine was fixed so i mined and then cave in happend the rock did 80 dam to me l1
this is stupid i cant get ores with out support you cant get support with out ores = you cant mine when you are a hermit !

Trade for metal nuggets or find a cave. Playing as a hermit has its disadvantages, but can be easily worked around through trade. It is a social game, after all. :lol: Heck, I am willing to trade with you, given that you are close enough.

trading is a good option but the people around us are or hostile or wont want to trade so we wont get any metal :|

Going off topic, but anyone can put up a village claim and a solo player can maintain a small village with enough INT and CHA. I was maintaining a 100x100+ v-claim by myself in w5.

Could I ask what tile you mined? If it wasn't one of the ones on axis with the center of the ladder, that cave-in was because of faulty mining.

Make rustroot extract, prospect for ore, make minehole, it's pretty simple stuff. You can mine 4 tiles from the mine without a support, I doubt you wouldn't get a bar from that. Or just cave-dig like everyone else.
