Good to chase others this way too.

I think there could be a whole subsection dedicated just to the Do's and Do Not's of combat and chases. Just the little things that might not be quite obvious to new players without giving away anyone's combat strategies, but might improve their survivability.

Gotta be careful with that, or once they notice your manually following they might turn around and smack you one :)

Let us reflect upon the good he was able to do during his short time in the hearthlands.
Let us remind ourselves of his bravery and willingness to fight for the safety of his friends!
Let us hope he can surpass his previous achievements in his future lives.

Nice tips!
My tip(meh..) : Go for yeomanry before a house. You're items will be stolen if you have a house and not yeomanry first. House icon appears... remember? :P

Better tip: Just put your HF in front of your house. You'll need to hold shift when placing it because a small section of the tile in front of the door won't allow objects to be placed there. Figure it as one measure of several a person should take to protect property along with a wall and personal or village claim.

Expanding on that. Place it inside your house, holding shift to place it directly in front of the door, so that whoever enters has to hearth travel to get back out.
