there's one one world - World 5

you can try to locate yourself by finding remarkable spots in your area like lake- , mudflat-, grassland, heath or moorshapes then compare it to Alger's Worldmap:

http://www.algeralith.info/HavenMap/

or you may ask someone you meet about the Coords...

You can step on the claim of the village to find out it's name...

I suggest reading a bit on forums to find out more about HnH...like the Beginners Guide and also the Wiki...

the world is huge, its sometimes hard to find people...to give a relative size of world, I once travelled an hour and a half by boat to do a trade with someone(we met at the halfway point between us) and we're both near the center of the map.

there are tons of forests, there are lots of other things, if you're truely on an island it will be hard to tell exactly where you are...I suggest you start foraging your island, get some lp start working on basics, and when you can build a boat(or find 1 on the shore) start exploring your rivers. you'll want to discover everything you can to get quick lp to start, and start building/crafting things to get more. the signposts(pile of wood is a fire) were put there by someone trying to trap an animal to kill so animals spawn in your area atleast(don't go pulling hair or trying to milk or you'll get killed) but try to grab a rabbit or chicken.

if you're truely lost, you can click on adventure->travel->hearth fire and you'll automaticly be returned to your hf so its good to keep it near where you're working. also a suggestion, don't build near a village. villages can expand over you and take your stuff(if you don't have yeomanry they don't even need to expand over you).

You may be out of stamina. Otherwise, if you dig on dirt then you'll always get dirt. If you dig on sand, you'll always get sand. If you dig on stomped ground you'll get nothing.

If you're digging for clay then coast and mudflats can run out of clay and must regenerate over time. You need to keen exploring until you can find a node that isn't tapped out. Anything with q11+ clay will give out a lot more clay than anything at q10.

The wiki talks about colours near the bottom but I can't seem to find these.
Please help.

Just right click on the stake. There will be four buttons labeled North, South, East, West. Just click those and then confirm your claim. You can't spend more LP than you currently have.

The colors correspond to the colors in the Kin list. You can set Theft, Trespassing, and Vandalism for each color.

Ropes are for leashing any tamed animal or used to tame wild animals.

When I enter/exit a building there is, for a brief moment, a red arrow.
What does it point to?

Also, why can I interact with objects in some villages? Is it because the villages points are below 50k?
