if you are sure you have the option, go to Build > Stone Working and you should find it.

Can village claim be expanded by the initial 101x101 area?

You can expand it beyond the initial area with banners or statues.

I need some advice, please.

I have a q20 sling, q22 boar tusk helmet (264 hp), Valmetyre(?) padding(84 hp) and q14 chest armor (210 hp).

I killed a bear which gave q66 raw hide. :D

I have q18 leather. My survival is 28 and sewing is 10. Dex is 24. (I am under the impression that my strength is immaterial to attacking with either sling, UAC or melee. Is this correct?)

Am I better served by making a bear cape or turning the bear hide into strips for making a better sling, or turning it into leather to make a better sling? I don't need the CHA boost from the bear cape having made a bear tooth talisman.

it's this issue of people mistaking convenience for laziness or "casual" gameplay, . . . there is no reason why not to have sacks . . .

Which do you need first, a bear cape or a better sling? A q20 sling is good enough to last for a while. You'll see some improvement if you can boost it up to q30 or 40, but if you go up that high, you then run into the problem of spooking the animals and having to chase them down. It's not so bad for boars, but bears and foxes will most likely get away.

Strength increases damage dealt in melee combat (UA or MC), increases mining ability, and is used to calculate the softcap for smithing. The square root of your strength is the base damage dealt when destroying objects.

Thanks and good point re: chasing the animals.

But are you saying strength contributes to the weight factor when engaged in unarmed combat?
