As long as the actual crop is still there, it can grow. You will just be unable to plant more crops until the tile is plowed again

What a relief! Thanks for the quick reply.

Is there a way to increase the size or move the hour glass graphic? Currently it is off to the left side and very small.

Yes, but it'd require someone to recode the client to change position or size.

is there a way to get someone out of a bed without destroying it?

ie: I hired a noob as a farmer hes been sleeping in my bed for 2 days(guess he quit or started a new char) and I want my bed back...

Nope.

Unless it's a sturdy bed, is it that big of a deal? If you really want to get rid of him, destroy the bed, destroy the hearth fire, and rebuild the bed where it was previously at. He'll be forced to enter the game at a random location.

Suppose I make a hearth fire. Then, suppose I make a different hearth fire elsewhere.

1. Would the previous fire go out automatically?
2. If not, can it be destroyed by any other player?

If a no to both, they need to make one of those a "yes" to prevent hearth-fire-spam/locking players in their own houses.
Or any houses, for that matter.

1) Yes, your old hearthfire extinguishes immediately
2) Yes, as long as they have at least a damage mod of 6 (so 36 strength, or 25+stone axe, or 16+pickaxe, or 4+sledgehammer) and vandalism or your hearthfire is on their claim, then they won't need vandalism.
