Hello. i got this problem with fishing. i got the fishing skill, i got the fishing pole with the hook, line , lure. traveled upstream for about 20 minutes until i found water with fish but can't fish. i press the adventure- fishing . what until i see the hook as the cursor. press right click on the water. doesn't do anything... spend an hour pressing fishing- right click on water doesn't do anything. anyone can help how to fish?

Also make sure you actually opened up your equipment tab and dragged the string -onto- the fishing pole equipped on one of your hands, and then drag the hook as you did the string -onto- the fishing pole, and then the bait the same. There's a lot of misconception that you have all that stuff, considering it looks like it on your character outside of the equipment tab.

If that's not the case, I direct you to the top of my reply.

One more thing, if you're traveling upstream by foot, there's often complications with fishing in the shallow/deep when on land, you can usually go all the way in the shallow and spam left click until you see your character fishing. If you're in a boat, left click anywhere and your character and boat will move to that location and fish.

So I tamed a male and a female cow, I've had them for two days or so. I got the male first and brought it back, filled the food trough with q27 food. So for quality of food eaten it's just said 11 every time I've checked it (last night, this morning, and just now). The female, however, it says q19. But I haven't had her as long as the male. Is there a reason he's not eating or what is it?

The female could be pregnant, making it eat a lot more.

"A non-pregnant cow eats 4.8 units of food per day (a Food Trough holds 200 units). A pregnant cow eats 10 times as much (48 units per day). A lactating cow eats 4.8 units of food per day, plus 1/10 unit for every 1L of milk produced."

Make sure you always keep your food trough full, otherwise the cows will eat the grasslands which is naturally Q10 and can potentially lower quality of your cows, or so i've heard.

Also, here's some pics on boar taming without being touched, I wasn't able to make a video because it extremely lagged my client, but here's some positioning screenshots, I was using Dash so I could show you the way to do it without all those high tier skills.

Here you can see I jumped out on the other side of the boar (left) and got him facing into the shallows that way, you can then jump out to the right and position yourself how I am in the screenshot after this one..

No problem, i'd recommend getting some leather armor or better and practicing a bit until you got it down, I practiced it once on a boar I found foraging before I actually did the real thing, it helps.

I've got leather shirt and trousers but they're not amazing quality, I have to get my sewing up.

Perhaps you should try getting your survival up instead, and hunting for a higher Q ranging hide animal, like a bear or even a deer/boar will suffice. If you have higher survival and a decent axe you can make good enough leather armor without it extremely soft capping it with sewing. You should be able to do it right now, if you have at least 15 UA the boar will take 2 hits with stomp to get your defense down or so, so it's not extremely threatening, I still recommend armor and a boat nearby to escape to.
