Somewhat true. The quality of your ranged weapon determines the maximum amount of MM you can use. Example: with a q10 sling and 25 MM (Marksmanship), at most you have an effective MM skill of 20, even with it higher. With the reverse, a q25 sling and 10 MM, you still only aim at the speed of 10 MM.

Really! I did not know this, random question how much MM can you use with a Q90 Rbow?

Ranger Bows have a 3x maximum skill. Ammo also caps your effective skill at 2x the ammo Q. I'd point you towards the wiki article, but RoB is down.

Actually, on topic. You can do it with less UA skill (pulled a fox kill off with 25, sure others have done less). I'm not sure what the MC needs to be at if you stick with Shield as your maneuver. I've not tried. I try to not use flex so much. It's good, but there are better things you can do. Bloodlust is great because you can switch just before an attack (where you can't do that easily on PvP combat). I pretty much stick to Dash or another IP builder that provides Def or tips scales in my favor. The farther you can get the scales, the more of your attacks get through. Also, I'll be sure to put in a bunch of small hits in to tip the scales to max.

If you're going to use some MC, use chop, cleave, sting (if you have a sword), or valorous strike. They'll all do a lot more damage. If just using UC, get some cutthroat knuckles to increase the damage punch does.

Once you get a good quality bow where you can consistently kill a fox on your first pull, then I find that a melee kill is much faster once you get enough UA. Even higher amounts and you can kill a fox with melee as fast as aiming a bow. The big downside with melee is lag, which is why few people use it.
