So i hunted a bear with 17 MM 10q (something like that) sling. ofcourse from a boat and it took a few hours.
What is the minimum stats and items Q i can hunt a bear?

I'm pretty sure the first time I did it was with a sling of approximately that quality & about that mm. Yes, it takes a long time...

Bear (...) in mind that early on you can constantly upgrade your sling as you kill bears and gain survival. If you live in a village or near a friendly village you can probably buy a sling much better than you can make for yourself. If you learn the combat system and get a sword you may prefer to melee them - this is possible at low stats as well (if you know how)

i now feel horrible as i missed a word in my op. i wanted to know what was the minumun i can hunt bears with Melee...

I can still walk in the claim and everything.
But i cant make my own claim, because the claim of my other characther is kinda in the way.

The easy way is to make another character and inherit the dead character's attributes and claim. When you log in with that character, you can then simply give up your claim by (A)dventure->(D)eclaim. (I believe that's the correct order of commands.)

Another discovery question please. I have the pickaxe and the bar of metal but I did not make the axe or the bar. I have locks and bolts skill. I want to build a cellar but the game does not give me the option under build/construction. What must I do? Make the bar? Make the pickaxe? Or both? Or something else?
