That's theft right there. It's annoying, but just ignore the stuff and don't forget to revoke your own claim when you decide to leave.

No, I actually meant "cleaning up after people" by that.
When mapping the area I ran into a lot of places where people just clear cut parts and made dozens of wicker baskets for LP to leave behind the mess the made and jack off to their newly bought pottery and leatherworking skills. I would never touch an abandoned camp, though. They can act as landmarks and are pretty to find in the wilderness.

Also, not quitting, but yes, people leaving their claims up, very annoying.

Hearthfires are an exception, because they actually belong to someone. Everything else on unclaimed land you can destroy without leaving scents.

Oh, yes, I've settled near a clear-cut area, too. Not cleaning it up on purpose, but all these logs lying around are annoying. I try to use them when I need wood, but there's only so many things I can build.

I quite like cleaning up after people. I am very careful when I cut trees down and always try to only cut one or two away from big clumps. I have plenty of use for them too as I have just finished my timber house (That took a while and thankfully it finished before todays crash) There was two 'Log out' places around me so I just walk over to the logs, clear the stumps and makles some planks before lifting up one of the other logs (un-cut) and port back to my home. It takes a while but iot makes the place look tidy.

These are lies. If I could go a day without needing 100 logs, then I'd be getting nothing done that day. Between construction, expansion, repairs, fuel, and upgrading wood never fails to be useful.

Wait, so I'm lying that I don't have much use for wood? I demand evidence!
