While I can't comment on the difficulty of pissing a goon off as they have been alright to me, some even nice. I do know that if you piss one of them off, there is a good chance you will die. However if you make any high level character angry there is a possibility you will die.

Also as a general rule if you raid an "abandoned" village there is always a chance you will be killed. If the area is populated, there is a better chance someone will pick up the scent.

Yes, I think this is fairly common knowledge, the key point is that the chance of being caught is significantly less in certain parts of the world.

The point of my warning is to let people know that "goon areas" are just about the worst spot you can possibly explore in, (unless you have a murder fort, then it's one of the best), because you are likely to not be warned or spoken to before you are summoned and/or killed, and then likely harassed on irc about it too, since all the goons are mods.

I think most respectable villages wouldn't mind giving a fair warning if you actually happen to be tracked at all.

Alright, so I'm going to take a break from smashing my head against my desk at your utter stupidity/retardation/down's syndrome/autism/aspergers, or even all of them combined.

But simply pissing off a goon on IRC is enough to get SinJin or Squidgy to take their hands out of their pants and punch down your palisades and destroy every item you own.

Okay, I'd like to start out with how this all started. Zentits here and Oddity decided to attempt murdering some relatively new players who were close friends of mine, who were located at a mine near them. And yes, they did leave battery scents.

Continuing on, I asked Squidgy, a friend of mine, to come by and try to 'resolve' things. When we came down, Oddity ran into his cabin, and we restored to negotiations for reperations.

They were not my negotiations, nor was I asked to pay or do anything, I simply asked some questions, and even proposed a trade agreement

Things with Oddity went fine and we've got nothing against him now, but throughout it, Zentetsuken of course had been a massive prick toward both myself and Squidgy. Following the negotiations, for the next day, he continued to be a massive prick in IRC, and frankly, pissing people off doesn't get you far.

Now, my favourite part is this. If you claim they simply came over and killed you for the fun of it with absolutely nothing on your part, then why, praytell, do you endorse griefing?

In conclusion, you were killed for griefing friends of mine, continuing to be a little bitch during and following negotiations, and frankly you pissed more than a few people off, and now you're up and about trying to send newbies to Xanadu's walls to grief them.

I'm very sorry this turned out the way it did for you. For going the fact that you should have never really been involved in the negotiations in the first place, I still do apologize. Zenreich and whom ever else were only trying to look out for us, and I really do give them all the appreciation in the world for doing so.

Up until the tracking of the scent and that negotiation, I've never had any affiliation with the Goons other than IRC. After we claimed that mine not once did anyone EVER try and talk to us normally or contact us to speak or negotiate a problem I thought never existed until recently.

I really, truly regret the fact that it came to such a dramatic climax.

For the record to anyone else, I am the Lawspeaker of PYR8, and probably the whole reason this situation started. I would hardly call PYR8 a village, as it is just a Village Claim on two walled in copper mines.

Anyways, I guess I can thank you for giving some relatively new players a little bit of fame, or infamy, which ever you prefer.

I actually have yet to murder anybody in this game, I don't think I even have Rage, so I'm sorry but you are mistaken in saying that I had left scents.

The negotiations were between Oddity and Squidgy, I was not even asked to witness them or be there at all, and simply joined out of curiosity because Oddity is my pal.

I was probably a prick in IRC, but did not continue to make a big deal out of anything in public IRC, otherwise I would have likely been banned?

I'm beginning to think you may be esl because even after explaining shit to you several times over IRC you reply with the same incessant and excessive rage. Clearly there is something lost in the information that your thick skull managed to absorb.


In conclusion, the negotiations were made between the people who were involved in the problem, for all parts of which I was not involved. My only involvement was asking admittedly sarcastic and jackassish questions afterwards. Therefore I have every reason to believe that I was personally griefed for an altercation that happened over IRC. In fact, if you personally hadn't have acted so painfully insulted and angry towards my questions during that private chat, I doubt it would have ever happened.

So thank you Zenreich for being a thick headed retard who reads selectively, clearly understands and absorbs almost nothing, and then rages about it as though you have some kind of medical bipolar or hormonal disorder.
