i don't think you can destroy the mine hole...

Think about destroying mines like a mine-reset mechanism... so I don't think it can be possible, it's not permissible from the developers point of view. By the way, the mine is clearly abandoned, next time I'll take screens.

I have yet another bugged mine hole. I claimed it, built a village, but still can't get in.

I was just thinking maybe somebody blocked the spawn tiles with liftables, you can do it (or used to anyways haven't tried recently) with a house by putting a liftable object (i.e. empty Cupboard) on the tile where you spawn in, the game just won't let you enter.

So in an ultimate jerk-off move (or maybe not if you believe in supply-demand) someone made an alt and used it to block all the tiles at the base of the ladder in to the mine with Cupboards or something similar, then logged off the alt in there leaving it to rot.

I don't think it rots in there...

But the man speaks the truth. I did this to block off the entrance to my cave w/ mine (no decay in caves fortunately)
