No joke, don't grind, it takes the fun out of the game. Set some goals and just play, you'll get LP fast enough. Also, consider getting 10 perception (at least) and some survival for now.

If you MUST grind, try buckets or wicker baskets.

The LP gains have been rebalanced in this world in order to reward you more for the every day tasks. You get more for building, digging, and crafting various goods.

Sure, you can grind buckets or wicker breadbaskets, but if you just set goals and try to build, hunt, forage, etc, you'll gain almost as much LP and accomplish a lot more productive tasks.

i asked a simple question... if you're going to put a pathetic answer dont reply to the post...

im playing the game, obviously.

but i need faster LP and cutting trees to make boards and running them back miles away isn't doing the job i need for now.


also asked for tips and suggestions, which "playing the game" isn't an answer to anything i asked...

Mass deforestation. Don't cut into boards. Just cut down and remove stump. I cut down everything but evergreens, and fruit trees.

should i level up carpentry? would that increase the amount of experience i get per item made?

No, just the quality of the boards. Changing your personal beliefs towards change gets you more lp, but it's best to change other beliefs besides change since it pushes you that way for free.
