A wicker breadbasket gives 20 LP at 100% LA. I don't know where you got this 19 LP at 120% LA from, unless you were using branches lower than Q10.

So according to the wiki, a wicker basket gives 40 LP at 100% LA. Which makes the LP gain the same per branch, but breadbaskets are way easier to handle due to not being a buildable object.

If you want to handle buildable objects, make a campfire and light it twice. More LP than a basket.

Build the fire, rightclick it and choose "light my fire". While the hourglass counts down, rightclick the unlit fire again so the menu is open. Now wait until the fire is lit and you got your LP, then click "light my fire" again in the still open menu.

I get 8 boards from average tree (2 logs) which is 176LP for each bucket = 1336 LP from one tree.
How can branch baskets compare against that?

Assuming with 360% LA: I get 24 blocks from average tree (2 logs) which is 72LP for each breadbasket = 1728 LP from one tree.

plus another 4 blocks if you remove the stump, which also nets you 200 or so lp. it just takes more time but is very material effective
