You could create a new account, thus ridding yourself of any character history.

Your name isn't unique to you. Anybody can use any name, even those other people are also using. The only restriction is that you can only use each name once per account.

for example, i just met someone who tells me the name of his 1st account is garath, which is mine too. Garath. Since he died, i still didnt have a problem

we are sorry for you and feel your pain, most of us had similar things happen over time... (well i didnt, but many have)

unless they can find prove it was a bug, they cant revive your character (if they can). but if you enjoyed it so much, you wont abandon the game just because of one little setback. people die all the time, in worse ways than you did

dont have swimming and lose your boat in middle of river is kinda a death sentence

Aww yeah pretty much this, but i bet he's picturing all the things he could have done differently, he could have walked and followed the river, or gone fishing, or not stopped for that guy, or gone and done something totally not related to boats maybe mine. I bet the regret is killing him.
