Trap foxes becouse they are faster than you and you can't get them.
Bear's usualy wont run but sometimes they do,if they do so you just go to the shore with your boat and wait for it to come back, when he comes go farer away from shore so he can't attack you.
About MM - 15 is good for foxes,30 or so is OK for boars, and for bears.... eh around 100? With 50 MM i killed a bear in 20 minutes or so,but the damage is resulted by you'r perception, higher level means higher damage.
That strategy with bears works with boars too. I've taken down several boars with it so far, no need to chase them down, and when they return they become sort of "demoralized", they won't attack you at all, just follow you around dumbly (be careful anyway, and at least the first time they return, just in case). Foxes are more difficult for me, I've yet to take one down, as they always move too much before I can fence them in completely.
Did you say ranged damage is based off perception?
